Polymarket deposit not showing up: what to check, step by step
If your Polymarket deposit is not showing up, check the network, address, token, minimum and the transaction on Polygonscan, then contact support if needed.
If your Polymarket deposit is not showing up, the cause is nearly always one of five things: the transfer is still processing, the withdrawal has not left your exchange yet, the network or address does not match, the token is not supported, or the amount was below the minimum. Polymarket says transfers typically finish within a few minutes, and its help article suggests starting these checks if nothing has arrived after 10 minutes.

First: how long should a deposit take?
The documentation says transfers typically finish within a few minutes, though congestion can stretch that, and it sets no hard upper limit. The only benchmark in the official article: if you used the deposit button and 10 minutes have passed without the funds arriving, start the checks.
1. Confirm the withdrawal actually left your exchange
Open your exchange’s withdrawal history. If it says “pending” or “under review”, the money has not gone out yet and Polymarket cannot see it. Only the exchange can tell you why it is held and when it will be sent.
Once the status turns to completed, the exchange gives you a transaction ID (TXID or hash). Copy it. You need it for steps 6 and 7 and for support.
2. Check that you used the deposit address
Two addresses are easy to mix up. The deposit address is the one shown under Deposit, in the crypto transfer option, and it is unique to your wallet and to each network type (EVM, Solana, Bitcoin or Tron). Your profile address is the Polygon wallet linked to your account, per the help article. Use the first one to deposit. Funds sent to an address that does not belong to your account may be unrecoverable.
3. Verify the network
The EVM address only works for EVM networks; do not use it for Solana, Bitcoin or Tron, or the other way round. Compare the network you chose at the exchange with the one on the deposit screen. If your exchange does not offer Polygon, copy the address Polymarket shows for the network you use. The usual route is in how to deposit on Polymarket.
4. Confirm the token is supported
The documentation accepts native USDC and USDC.e, and it keeps a supported-asset list that changes over time. That supported assets page names USDT as an example token on several networks, but the complete, current list is the one on the deposit screen. If you sent something that is not on it, jump to the recovery section.
5. See whether you cleared the minimum
Every asset has its own minimum and, per the documentation, deposits below it are not processed. The figures change: read the number the deposit screen shows for your network and token. If you fell short, ask support rather than sending again blindly.
6. Look the transaction up on a block explorer
An explorer is a public site that shows what happened on-chain. For Polygon use Polygonscan; for Ethereum, Etherscan; for Bitcoin, an explorer such as Mempool. Paste the TXID and check three things:
| What to look at | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| “Success” status | The transaction ran on the network |
| Destination address | It must be your deposit address, not another |
| Token and amount | They must match what you thought you sent |
If the explorer cannot find the TXID, the exchange has not broadcast it yet or you copied it wrong. If it finds it and everything matches, go to step 7.
7. Check the bridge status
The bridge documentation lets you query a transfer’s status with the deposit address (not your wallet address) at bridge.polymarket.com/status/<address>. The statuses are:
| Status | Official meaning |
|---|---|
| DEPOSIT_DETECTED | Funds detected on the source chain, not yet processing |
| PROCESSING | The transaction is being routed and swapped |
| ORIGIN_TX_CONFIRMED | Source chain transaction confirmed |
| SUBMITTED | Submitted to the destination chain |
| COMPLETED | Funds arrived |
| FAILED | The transaction hit an error |
If it sits in an in-between state, give it a few more minutes. If you see FAILED, or the response is empty although the explorer shows your transfer confirmed, refresh the page, log out and back in (the official article suggests it) and write to support.
Wrong token or wrong network: what can be recovered
Some cases have a recovery tool and some have no remedy, according to the official article:
| Case | What Polymarket says |
|---|---|
| Transfer on Ethereum to your profile address | Use the tool at recovery.polymarket.com |
| Non-pUSD token sent on Polygon (USDT, POL or others) | Also handled with that tool |
| Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or BSC | Tools exist but there are no self-serve steps: contact support; recovery may not be possible |
| Sent to a CTF Exchange contract | Permanently locked |
| Any other network, or an address not tied to your account | Not recoverable |
The article warns that not every case will be solvable. The tool asks you to sign in or connect a wallet and may ask you to send ETH or POL to cover the recovery gas fee.
When to contact support and what to send
Write in if more than 10 minutes have passed, the explorer shows the transaction confirmed and your balance has not moved. The official channels are the chat on polymarket.com (the blue icon at the bottom right) or the email support@polymarket.com, per their article on contacting support. Include what the recovery article asks for:
- The transaction hash (Tx ID).
- The token and approximate amount.
- The network you used.
A screenshot from the explorer and the time you sent it also help.
What not to do
- Never share your seed phrase or private key, with anyone, for any reason. Support does not need them to look into a deposit.
- Do not answer anyone who messages you first. The channels the official article lists are the site chat and email. Someone who contacts you by direct message on X, Telegram or Discord claiming to be “Polymarket support” is not on that list.
- Do not send again until you know where the first transfer ended up.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Polymarket deposit take to show up?
The documentation says transfers typically finish within a few minutes, with possible delays depending on the network. The help article suggests checking once 10 minutes have passed without the funds arriving.
My balance has not changed but the transaction says “Success”. What now?
Check that the destination is your deposit address, that the token is supported and that you cleared the minimum. If everything matches, refresh the page, log out and back in, and write to support with the hash.
The deposit button is greyed out. Why?
The official pages we read do not list the causes. Check that your country is not among the restricted ones on Polymarket’s official list and ask support.
Can I recover a deposit sent on the wrong network?
Sometimes. For Ethereum, and for non-pUSD tokens sent on Polygon, there is an official tool; in other cases it depends on support. If it went to an address not tied to your account, it cannot be recovered.
