Polymarket in the Philippines: is it blocked? Status in 2026

Blocked

Polymarket does not restrict the Philippines on its official list, but PAGCOR added polymarket.com to its site-blocking list on 14 May 2026 and Globe confirmed it enforces the block on its network. We publish no sign-up links for the Philippines.

This site does not publish sign-up links for countries where Polymarket is blocked or restricted. We do not recommend using a VPN to bypass blocks: it violates Polymarket's terms and can leave your account in close-only mode.

PAGCOR flagged polymarket.com in May 2026

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) regulates gambling, and it has not licensed any prediction market. On 14 May 2026 it included polymarket.com in a list of websites endorsed for blocking. Globe Telecom confirmed to BitPinas that it applied network-level restrictions in response, and Globe users were redirected to an "Access Restricted" page from the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center stating that the site is unlicensed by Philippine authorities. This is a local regulator's action, separate from Polymarket's own country list.

Gaming lawyer Tonet Quiogue of Arden Consult has argued that real-money prediction markets are illegal under current Philippine gambling law, that the Civil Code makes gambling debts unenforceable, and that betting on election results is prohibited under election law.

What the block means for users

The order targets access to the site, not individual users, and BitPinas did not report fines for people who had already opened accounts. Polymarket itself still does not list the Philippines as restricted, so the obstacle is local: a regulator has said the platform is unlicensed, and a major network has acted on that. Taking part anyway would mean using a service that a Philippine authority has flagged as unauthorised.

For that reason this page does not explain how to deposit from the Philippines, and the site shows no sign-up links to Philippine visitors. If PAGCOR licenses prediction markets or lifts the listing, the status here will change and the page will say so with its source.

Philippine topics on Polymarket

Local markets track the Senate impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, a possible meeting between Donald Trump and Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and the risk of a military clash between China and the Philippines. You can follow them on the markets board.
