How to use Polymarket in Peru: from soles to USDC and back
Polymarket works in Peru with no known restriction. Buy USDC with soles on Binance, Buda or OKX, send it over Polygon, and withdraw to the exchange to cash out.
Polymarket is not available in your country. You will only find information here, not sign-up links.
Can you use Polymarket in Peru?
Yes. Peru is not on Polymarket’s geoblocking list and there is no known local block. Polymarket does not take soles, so the route is always the same: buy USDC with soles on an exchange, send it over the Polygon network to your deposit address, and to cash out, send it back to the exchange and sell it for soles.
Legal status of Polymarket in Peru
There is no known statement from Peruvian authorities on Polymarket or on prediction markets in general. That is all that can be said on solid ground. Markets on the 2026 Peruvian election were among the most searched in Spanish. The Peru page is updated if anything changes.
Step 1: swap soles for USDC
These are the exchanges most used in Peru to get USDC:
| Exchange | What you use it for |
|---|---|
| Binance | Buying USDC with soles through its available methods |
| Buda | Buying USDC with soles |
| OKX | Buying USDC through its available methods |
- Create an account and complete the verification the exchange requires.
- Fund it in soles with one of its methods.
- Buy USDC, the stablecoin worth 1 US dollar.
Buy, sell and withdrawal fees are set by each exchange and published on its site. Look them up before you start: on this route they are the cost that matters most.
Step 2: send USDC to Polymarket over Polygon
- On Polymarket, go to Deposit and copy your EVM address. It is unique to your wallet and to that network type.
- On the exchange, go to Withdraw, pick USDC and the Polygon network. If Polygon is not offered, choose another network that Polymarket’s deposit screen shows as supported and use that same network on both sides.
- Check the minimum shown on the deposit screen. It changes over time.
- Confirm. On arrival, USDC is converted to pUSD, Polymarket’s internal currency, automatically.
Send an unsupported token or pick a different network and you can lose the money. For those cases there is recovery.polymarket.com, which tries to recover mistaken transfers without promising anything. The full walkthrough is in how to deposit on Polymarket.
Polymarket also offers card deposits, through an external processor with its own fees, and a Coinbase connection.
Step 3: withdraw from Polymarket to soles
- Press Withdraw on Polymarket. Your pUSD is converted to native USDC via a Uniswap pool on Polygon.
- Paste your USDC deposit address from Binance, Buda or OKX and select the same network.
- On the exchange, sell the USDC for soles and transfer them to your bank account according to its methods and timelines.
According to the official withdrawal docs, Polymarket charges nothing to withdraw and withdrawals are instant unless the Uniswap pool is depleted. If that happens, split the amount or wait. You can withdraw pUSD without converting it, but many exchanges will not accept it, so from Peru the practical choice is to withdraw as USDC. More detail is in how to withdraw from Polymarket.
